“Notice”
Before you read the article, know that victory has reasons
And also defeat.
The shock of many people at the state of the army after 200 days of fighting with the Rapid Support forces means that everyone is unable to understand and diagnose the cause that led to this. This article’s mission is to explain to you, in brief, the reasons for what you see or hear, and it does not matter that you consider it a reference. Or a basis for correcting your view of things.
December 14, 2020 AD, Prime Minister Dr. Abdallah Hamdok proposed for the first time the necessity of the state’s jurisdiction over public funds, and among those necessities is subjecting the “army’s” investments to the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, and treating them according to the rules of transparency, in order to know where their profits go.
The main reason, for this demand was the realization that despite their exemption from taxes and government transactions and their billions in profits, these companies were not contributing to improving the situation of the army, which owns the same investments.
And this money continued to go into the pocket of the Islamic Movement, which spent it over the past years on popular security and the shadow brigades, and still does. Current and former army leaders are nothing but protectors of this corruption.
If you are surprised by the withdrawal of the army in several locations, especially Darfur, or its loss in this war, let me take you back to February 20, 2013 AD, that is, 10 years ago, and specifically the statement of the official spokesman for the armed forces (Al-Sawarmi Khaled Saad) during the Blue Nile War, where Al-Sawarmi justified the defeat. The Sudanese army, in front of 3 brigades of the Popular Movement forces, said that the army “ran out of ammunition”. Yes, an army that had a military industrialization body ran out of ammunition, and of course this was not the real reason.
At a stage after the Blue Nile War, in which the army lost thousands of soldiers, the corruption of weapons imported by the then Minister of Defense, Abdul Rahim Muhammad Hussein, Nafi Ali Nafi, Ali Othman, Ali Salem, Director of Positive Security, and Major General Al-Naim Khadr, Director of the Office of Defense, was revealed. Minister of Defense, and the weapons were 180 Russian T80 tanks, 30 armored vehicles from Belarus, 55 Ukrainian PMP2 armored vehicles, troop carriers exceeding 300, and tons of damaged ammunition, which the surviving soldiers said, “Bullets were coming out of the nozzle.” The rifle fell meters away, as if a baby had thrown it into his hand,” in what was known as the scandal of the corrupt Belarus arms deal, which resulted in the loss of thousands of Sudanese soldiers, which is what Al-Sawarmi lied about.
Despite the scandal, no one was held accountable for this crime against the army or the soldiers who lost their lives due to the corruption of ideological army leaders. The leaders of the Islamic movement are above the law and accountability, and the army has no one who can say no to them, or demand that they be held accountable.
So this is not the first time that the army has been exposed to such clear losses, the silence of which contributes to their exacerbation,
and thus the deterioration of what remains of the army. All the efforts of civilians, and those concerned for the country’s army, were to remove the Islamic Movement’s control from the army and empower it. From rehabilitating itself as a national, professional, and neutral army, redefining its role, and putting its money under the spotlight, so that it does not go into the pockets of the corrupt, who sacrificed thousands of soldiers from the armed forces, in absurd, regional, and racist wars, from which Sudan did not win. Except this war going on right now.
On the other hand, the Rapid Support Forces, whose numbers of soldiers doubled, and a clear qualitative change occurred in its methods of training and arming, setting open budgets for training, and entering into course after course under the eyes of the armed forces, benefited from the Russian tactics that it received through its training. It would have made it a striking infantry force if it was integrated into the army, which means that Sudan, as a country, suffered military damage from this war, from which it cannot recover in the short term.
What you are seeing today is not due to the lack of courage of the Sudanese army forces soldiers and officers, but rather that these soldiers are fighting battles with the bare minimum of military capabilities, and they held out for 6 months and 17 days, without clear goals, war plans, or inspired leadership that would preserve their lives and stop this war. For which they are far from prepared.
The brave thing, and the wise assessment, is to stop this war immediately through negotiations that lead to rebuilding the Sudanese army according to sound technical foundations and different combat capabilities and removing it from the political equation, and economic investment is under military leaders who understand and preserve their role, because the time is not yet If we continue, and continue with the lies, and believe those who suffer from the disease of morals, and those who seek fame at the expense of the blood and souls of soldiers, the army will only increase one loss after another.
There is no shame or shame in stopping the war that is expanding every day, against the interest of the Sudanese people, who do not have the tools to resolve it after the army has turned into a political institution that has chosen to govern rather than defend it, and victory will be victory over the whims and desires of the war priests who ignited the wars. In all parts of Sudan, for the sake of the ruling seat for more than 30 years, they have only increased the Sudanese people’s exhaustion, humiliation, and isolation.
Defeat will come when you ignore logic.
And it’s about the ropes of lies.
Lies that have become exposed to everyone.
Therefore, this war must be stopped so that it does not become a tribal and ethnic flood before excluding no one.
