Darfur follow-up: UAE
The President of the Transitional Period, General Mohamed Idriss Deby, met with the former Prime Minister of Sudan, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, on the sidelines of the “28th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change” in Dubai.
The two sides discussed the ongoing crisis in Sudan and Chad’s call on both sides of the conflict to reach a peaceful solution.
Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister of Sudan, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, expressed on this occasion his thanks to the President of the Chadian transitional period for his commitment to peace and stability in the sisterly country of Sudan.
